Decorative & Practical Red Scalloped Cotton Napkins
Blue Needle’s unique, finely stitched, scalloped-edged napkins fit my seasonal themes, making them both practical and decorative. Their scalloped style is among my favorites for holiday accent decorations and home dĂ©cor, including Valentine’s Day and other special occasions. The way they add a pop of color to my table settings always inspires me for my next home dĂ©cor project.HOME DÉCOR AND PRACTICAL USESThe Blue Needle’s red scalloped borders are both unique and attractive, yet also practical as bread, fruit, snack, and basket liners. For example, my photos show two table settings, one with a decorative flower snack basket and the other with a fruit and nut bowl. I’ve also successfully cleaned a few light stains with Shout Wipes and dried the napkins.WHITE CLOTH NAPKIN PROS AND CONSPROSCrisp, fresh appearanceCotton fabric is absorbent with a soft drapeColorful fruit pops with bright red napkin scalloped bordersScalloped edges are finely stitched and colorfulCONSCleaning white fabric requires extra attentionWhite fabric easily stains with food, oil, spices, and wine100 % cotton wrinkles easier than cotton fabric blendsNapkins are (17 x 17) slightly smaller than advertised (18 x 18)CONCLUSIONSFor a ‘fresh napkin look’ without an endless clean-up chore, these red scalloped napkins used for basket liners are my top choice. They serve as both decorative table accents and practical tableware, featuring cotton fabric and laundry care instructions for added convenience. I’m always delighted when unique napkin styles and patterns like these make a significant impact in my home; for these reasons, my rating is five stars.

Good quality, not soft though
These are pretty nice quality large size 17″x 17″ napkins made of cotton. The embroidery is very nice around the scalloped edges, which I really like too. These napkins are pretty thin but they are dense so they can still hold quite a bit of moisture. They definitely come out of the dryer, pretty wrinkly, and must be pressed if you want them perfectly flat. I prefer softer cotton. So I removed one star.

Lovely napkins for any occasion
What first impressed me when I received the napkins is how lovely and good size they are. They are perfect for all occasions. These are good quality napkins and they wash well. If I get them right out of the dryer I can usually just fold them and put them in my linen cabinet drawer, though they look better when I iron them. I like that these napkins are 100% cotton, if they do wrinkle I don’t mind ironing them.I love the scalloped edge gives them a soft elegant finish, these make a wonderful gift. I can use these napkins everyday or at formal dinners. The napkins are lovely just with the finished edging; however, I’m thinking I can add an extra flair with embroidery with a single letter monogram in one corner.I highly recommend this item. It’s a good value for the money.

High quality set of 4 cotton napkins w/scalloped borders. Great value. Highly recommend.
This is a lovely set of 4 cotton napkins with satin-stitched scalloped borders and beautiful embroidery, and I couldn’t be happier! The stitching is done really well, and they look fantastic.Cleaning them is a breeze! You can wash them by hand or pop them in the machine. I like to take them out of the dryer while they’re still a little damp; it makes ironing so much easier! If you’re interested in personalizing them, they’re perfect for monogramming! Just take them to a local business that offers that service. At just $20.99, this set is an amazing deal! I definitely recommend giving them a try!Thank you for reading my review! I hope you found it helpful and motivating. In my reviews, I aim to provide potential buyers with a comprehensive understanding of the product. I strive to share as much information as possible, often including pictures and sometimes videos. My secondary goal is to help sellers enhance their products while highlighting their features. Most reviews are written within a few weeks of receiving the product, and I will edit my review if necessary after some time has passed.

Great addition to my table
These cloth napkins are a lovely addition to my dining setup! The cotton fabric is soft, durable, and washable, making them great for everyday use or special occasions. The scalloped embroidery around the edges adds a subtle but elegant detail that enhances their look without being too flashy. The size is just right—not too small or large—and they fold nicely for storage. I appreciate that they are reusable, which helps cut down on waste compared to paper napkins. The white base with green edging gives a fresh and spring-like vibe to my table, perfect for seasonal decor. They’ve held up well through multiple washes without losing shape or color. Overall, they blend practicality and style beautifully, and I’m very pleased with how they elevate my dining experience.

very cute, a little smaller than listed
I can confirm that even pre-washing, like a couple others have pointed out, these measure 17×17″ rather than 18×18″ as advertised. Not a huge deal but worth pointing out. And as with anything else 100% cotton, I am accepting that they will shrink a bit further because I don’t have time to do separate loads on cold and tumble dry low — I just throw together all my colors, and all my whites and wash/dry normally. Shrinkage has been minimal after one wash though. They are charming and adorable, with the whimsical scalloped edge. They are a little on the thinner side than what I was hoping for, but their cuteness goes a long way.

Perfect addition to my strawberry themed dining room!
These are so pretty! I have a strawberry theme in my dining room and these are the perfect napkins to roll up and put a little strawberry napkin ring on. They’re all even and the embroidery over the edges of the red color is nice. This set fits perfectly in with my strawberry theme. The napkins are a crisp white.Would absolutely recommend and would choose again.

Absorbing, large, cotton napkins
There are very large napkins that seem rustic and seem to fit into the 70s era theme. The scalloped edges are strong.I like that this is 100% cotton. It does feel as thought it would absorb well and therefore probably has a lower thread count. These would make for great dinner napkins but also to have something in one’s purse or car.

Basic and Cute
I wish the weaves were tighter as I was hoping the fabric would be a bit smoother and fancier, but yet it’s soft. Cute for special occasions that call for cloth napkins vs paper ones. They will add a nice touch to your table if you’re into table setting. Delicate and basic and will go with many different styles of tablecloth and dishware. As for the washing, there’s an inherent impracticality about cloth napkins vs disposable ones, specially if your guests are wearing lipstick. But it goes with the territory when you order fabric napkins. They do add a warmth and coziness to a table setting!
